MELBOURNE 2021

FRIDAY 25 & SATURDAY 26 JUNE

Magdalen Laundry, Abbotsford Convent, Abbotsford

It is with much excitement, relief, and pure happiness that we can (finally) share with with you new dates for the festival you know and love.

It goes without saying this year has been a tough one, especially for those who bring people together, but with borders opening and restrictions easing, we can begin planning MOULD- A CHEESE FESTIVAL in earnest.

The overwhelming patience and support you’ve shown us will never be forgotten and it has honestly meant the world.

THANK YOU.

It’s time to show your support to independent Australian producers and chow down on the gooey, bitey, stinky, crumbly good stuff! There will be food, wine, cheese chats with producers and – you guessed it – cheese!

NEW DATES, SAME TIMES

Friday 25 June, 4.30pm – 8.30pm
Saturday 26 June, 11am – 3pm and 4pm – 8pm

NEW VENUE

We’re super excited for Mould to be moving to the stunning Abbotsford Convent in Abbotsford. We’ll be taking over the convents industrial Magdalen Laundry room, outdoor courtyard and lawn area for our epic cheese party.

HEALTH AND SAFTEY

Session numbers will be restricted to adhere to social distancing and other covid requirements so you’ll get even more one on one time with producers

Please be assured, the health and safety of everyone who attends our events – our guests, our producers, our suppliers and our staff – remains our top priority. We will be strictly following government and public health organisations guidelines.

Should there be any changes in restrictions between now and the festival, we will email you directly.

GOT A 2020 TICKET?

That’s ok! All tickets have been automatically transferred to the new date.  Your original ticket will grant you entry for the 2021 festival date. PLEASE DISREGARD THE OLD DATE PRINTED ON THE TICKET.

If you cannot make the new date, you’ll have a few choices: you can use the value of your ticket towards a MOULD CHEESE COLLECTIVE box, or you can request a refund. Simply email us at [email protected]

WELCOME TO MOULD MELBOURNE!

Back by popular demand, Australia’s favourite cheese festival, MOULD, is back in MELBOURNE, but this time we’re going big with more cheese and more producers.

MOULD brings together the best artisan producers from across the country for a day of cheese, wine, masterclasses and more.

Presented by REVEL (the team behind cult wine event Pinot Palooza) in collaboration with Nick Haddow of Bruny Island Cheese Co., MOULD will see Australia’s best cheesemakers and more come together for tastings, conversations, demonstrations and plenty of drinks.

DRINKS

To wash down all that delicious cheese, there will be heaps of wines, whisky, sake, beer and cider available to purchase at the bars.

CHEESE CHATS

Want to get your cheese geek on? We’ll be running a range of conversations throughout each session.

NOT JUST CHEESE

Alongside the best Australian cheeses, there will also be a full food program featuring dishes from local chefs available to purchase. Vendors and menus will be revealed closer to the event.

FULL CHEESE LINE UP TO BE ANNOUNCED
