  • We use full cold chain delivery service to ensure your cheese gets to you in excellent condition. For postcodes out of those service areas, we use StarTrack’s premium overnight service.
  • Boxes are insulated with up-cycled Planet Protector wool lining and ice blocks to ensure the cheese is cool for up to four days in transit.
  • Please ensure someone is home to collect (you’ll get a notification when it’s en route).

Milawa Cheese Co – Milawa (Waveroo), VIC 

“Milawa Blue” – blue-vein, cow’s milk

Inspired by Gorgonzola Dolce, this young blue is Milawa’s flagship cheese. It’s mild, it’s buttery and it’s been converting non-blue eaters since 1988. Enough said! David and Ann Brown were ready to leave the hustle of Melbourne when they stumbled on an old butter factory in 1988, they knew they had found a home. Now managed by daughter Ceridwen, Milawa continues to set the benchmark for Aussie cheese. Make sure you add their cheese room to your list of King Valley must-visits

Pecora Dairy – Roberston (Dharawal), NSW

“Jamberoo Blue” – blue-vein, ewe’s milk

Aged for three months is at peak maturity at six months, where it has a wonderful combination of a luscious mouth-feel, earthy spiciness, and hints of mixed peel and honeysuckle. A complex and subtle blue, with an overarching sweetness from ewe’s milk. Behind a natural rind is an ivory paste marbled with greenish-blue veins. Pecora Dairy is a gorgeous 200 acre farm in Robertson NSW where they make incredible sheep’s milk cheese from ewes who graze on lush, green pastures. The love and care that Michael and Cressida farm with makes it clear that holistic farming isn’t just a philosophy, it’s a way of life

Goldfields Farmhouse Cheese – Ballarat (Wathaurong), VIC

“Welshman’s Reef” – blue-vein, cow’s milk

For those really into blue, this is the one for you. Packed with a punch the Welshman’s Reef is reminiscent of the old English stilton. Made with Friesian Holstein milk then matured for two months is firm in texture but with a lovely buttery finish. Nardia and Andrew established Goldfields Farmhouse in 2005 and have worked tirelessly with two young kids in tow ever since. Sourcing Milk from local dairies in Ballarat to produce small batches of fresh, surfaced ripened, and semi-hard cheese with milk from Friesian Holstein and Jersey cows. Goldfields create a product that balances both art and science. It’s a privilege to have eaten their cheeses.
